The 25th anniversary of PACTT will be celebrated on May 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the new auditorium in building SE-C on the Biopôle Campus.
For this occasion, we are organizing a Valorisation Award which will be presented during the event for an innovative project from UNIL or CHUV researchers.

1. Eligibility
• You are a researcher or staff member at UNIL or CHUV.
• You are involved in an innovative project related to applied research, entrepreneurship, or improvements in academic or medical practices.
2. Evaluation criteria
• Innovative: Your idea must be original. Projects may be ongoing but must not be finalized.
• Impactful: Your project should contribute to society, the environment, or sectors beyond academia.
• Feasible: Your project should be realistic in scope and timeline, with available resources. Prototypes or proof-of-concept are a plus.
• Viable: Your project should have potential for long-term sustainability (e.g., through commercialization or public investment).
3. Process
• Submit your application by April 10, 2025, by filling out the form “Valorisation Award_Application” available.
• If your project is pre-selected, you will be invited to prepare a presentation (max 7 slides), including:
1. The problem you aim to solve
2. The project’s impact (who and how many are affected)
3. Your proposed solution and its potential for generating intellectual property
4. How you will develop your results into a product or service
5. A brief competitive analysis
6. Your strategy for reaching target users and ensuring project viability
A Jury of experts will select the best projects based on the evaluation criteria.
• If your project is selected, you will pitch it during the event.
4. Rewards
• A CHF 2’000 award to support the development of your project
• 10 hours of coaching to help you secure additional funding
